I have a really nice gelding for sale. He's awesome and would love to keep him, but he's just to big for my mom. Here is an ad for more info. Going to try and get some pictures of him soon. www.equinenow.com/horse-ad-36673

I don't have any pictures right now. Just him as a baby. I have him in a stall, and it's still been so cold I haven't had time to clean him up yet. I am hoping to get some this weekend. I was looking at him last night, and it's going to be hard to sell this one. I just want to keep him forever! He still looks like that. He's just lightened up quite a bit. But still has the spots on his face and the dark neck. I don't even have any yearling pictures of him yet. Will post some new ones as soon as I get some!

Adorable...I hold special spot in my heart for appy's and very fond fun memories...I had an all white one > he was leopard but his spots never made it past the skin so he was pure white. His name was patches...too funny huh? This one is adorable...can't wait to see current pics....what are his dam and sire's coloring?

Yes, he’s definitely not lacking any spots.
His Sire is a leopard, and his dam is a liver chestnut with butt roaning and spots. Both have show records.

Man O War? that TB because my TB is out of Man O War...so is he a considered a cross?

Man O War is TB, no, he's not a cross, look at any ApHC, AQHA, APHA etc registered horse, and way back you'll find TB's, Arabs etc. I traced a paint mare I used to own all the way back to the Godolphin Arabian! All the breeds started somewhere, hundreds of years ago...it's pretty cool to be able to trace back to the 1600's if you can!

Its my understanding that all TB's come out of a Arab. My firends Mom did some research for a project on Man O war and supposedly his Dam is an Arab? So, do all breeds come out of an Arab then? Gotta love the genetics thingy!

Man o War has the Godolphin Arabian in his pedigree as well. Most modern breeds started as something else.

Gotta love the genetics thingy! I'd be willing to bet all modern breeds can trace back to Arabian blood. (of course it would be many generations back) I think the only horse that hasn't had multiple infusions in it's bloodline, is the Przewalski .... but I haven't done a lot of research on it...

Gotta love the genetics thingy! I believe that all light breeds of horses have Arabian at some point in their lines. Arabians are often used to refine or lighten up a breed. Some Arabians are registered to be bred with certain warmblood breeds and the resulting foal will still be registered full warmblood. I'm trying to think of what breeds do this... I believe that Trakaener (sp?) is one. Of course, it has to be an approved Arabian horse. Here is a awesome Arabian stallion, AM Ghost Ship www.paybackranch.com He is a "CERTIFIED L1 FIRST PREMIUM SPORTHORSE STALLION and AMERICAN WARMBLOOD REGISTRY stallion with his permanent breeding license in BOTH organizations."

Here are some pictures. It was dark outside... so they didn't come out so well. I am glad my ad is getting so many views. I believe that most breeds started out with arab blood. But it's so long ago, it's irrelevant to me. Same with the Man O War in his pedigree. It doesn't really matter when it's that far back. Here are some pics. When it's light outside I will try and get some pictures of him with a saddle. That will really give you a better idea on his size.

hehe, do you have any pics of him from the other side... I'm daydreaming about what he'd look like with his mane roached!!! ;D

Well. I will see if I can find something of the other side. They're so dark, but I will see what I can do. Please don't tell me you would roach his mane. I may not sell him to someone who told me that. Absolutely a personal problem. It's not legal in the show pen either. Very sad. His mane is pretty, and it lays good to one side. It's very pretty actually, and he has a lot of it. ok... so no roaching.... and I am working on a pic for you.
