Colts? I don't really need a colt. Sorry! The more I look at him the more I want to keep him. Really. I like him a lot. He's just to big for my mom, and I don't really show pleasure or appies any more.

Well. I will see if I can find something of the other side. They're so dark, but I will see what I can do. Please don't tell me you would roach his mane. I may not sell him to someone who told me that. Absolutely a personal problem. It's not legal in the show pen either. Very sad. His mane is pretty, and it lays good to one side. It's very pretty actually, and he has a lot of it. ok... so no roaching.... and I am working on a pic for you. ( don't worry, I can't afford more than 1 horse at a time) whether I'd like him roached or not, would all depend on his neck.... he might just need a nice trim lol (roached, or razored to 4" hehe) I love my mare roached, but she grows the Appy Chicken hair mane.... can't do much with it... see example pic below lol psuedo corn rows...not enough hair to go all the way This was "pre-roach" full length full grown appy goodness hehe I think this pic of her in my sig she is roached (it's kinda small) I think I just like some of em roached!

It needs some trimming. I thinned it quite a bit last year, not looking forward to that again. He looks so cute with it all trimmed and banded! He would make such a cute all-around horse! Perfect for showing! I would have LOVED to have him back in the day when I was showing the appy circuit.

Good looking horse! Just how tall is he? I'd need a ladder!
I used to ride a 16 hand Leopard when I was a kid. My foot doesn't go up past my navel as easy as it used to!
I need the ol' lady stump now!

I am with you Zim...I have gained oh...lets say a lot of weight in the last 15 years, I can't hardly fit my fat @#$ in the saddle, let alone get my foot up that high. I have to use a mounting block. Hee hee hee! When I ride the neighbors Percheron, I have to climb up about three rows high on the haystack just to get on!

Well. I will admit he is very tall!! Even for me, and I am still young. I measured him just a couple days go. And he is 15.2 at the withers and 15.3 at the hip. He's only two. I have some more pictures of him. I am normally out there by myself, if your curious why I don't have pictures of him under saddle. I have ridden appies my entire life, and I really wish I had him when I was younger!! He's so pretty! I took him to a schooling show over the weekend and he won his halter class and rode like a pro. I couldn't be more happy with him at this point. He's such a cool horse! I am going to have a hard time parting with him. Going to another schooling show this weekend in St John, WA. So, I am hoping to get some nice pictures of him. Instead of these night shots I have been getting! Oh... by the way. I just started blanketing him and he's wearing an 80. He's only 2!! What happened? he was such a cute LITTLE baby!

I need the ol' lady stump now! Zim Zim, I'm feeling it too. I'm only 30! 15 hands or more and I have a hard time reaching stirrups... bad thing about being short, your stirrups are short too, which means you have to reach higher!

Well if you want to hear something funny. The guys at the barn always make fun of me because sometimes I have a hard time getting the saddle up that high! With him being so young I am still using my colt saddle on him, which is the heaviest thing imaginable!!!! Then when I am tired or just get done working out it's really hard for me to get on! I am sure it's super funny to watch! I can't help but laugh at myself most of the time.

Here are some pictures from the show on 4/29/07 He did very well competing in halter and W/T Western Pleasure. This horse never spooked, jumped, or worried about anything! He was exposed to traffic, tractors, flags, trucks and golfers. No spook! Couldn't ask for more after only approx 30 rides!
