I am moving this week to the Sumner/Puyallup Valley by Spooner Farms. I need pasture for one really nice well mannered well trained (listens much better than hubby)mare. She is not marish is fine with foals and mini's is AQHA and a total sweet heart. I have had her for 10 years she doesn't challenge fences not high strung and very quiet more like a dog. She is professional trained so I don't need or really want to be at a training stable. I just want to spend time with and ride my mare. I am totally social but do not want to compete for the arena as my time is limited because of work. Any help you can lend would be great- Thanks for you help.

Sorry I moved your topic, but we have a section made just for boarding inquiries. I would suggest Northwest Horse Park, which is where DeAnne boards in Orting. She seems very happy with it and she has boarded with a few other facilities in your specific area that you are talking about. Good Luck. lisa

(253) 435-9324 RDC'S number. lots of english riders there, and a couple western/trail riders. Full care is a box stall, with a separate non attached turnout. I believe they are turned out for about 6 to 8 hours a day. they also have a group pasture option. I have boarded there. Was a nice facility, big indoor arena, an outdoor with jumps etc.
I prefer a more homey farm environment though, which is Northwest Horse Park all the way. individual 50x300 paddock with shelter per horse. 253-232-5553! ( permit for the indoor arena just finalized, should be up before summer is even here).
Neither place is a high traffic training barn. both have trail access. both are priced comparitively. both feed quality hay, either grass or Alf. RDC charges for Trailer parking. NWHP does not.
