I happened upon a gelding that's 3rd level dressage, 18 years old, TB. Seems like a real sweetie.
DD and I were out for a walk and stopped in at a neighboring facility that I've not been to in a good many years. The young gal there has this boy; he'd belonged to a friend who's in the military and was recently transfered. Atticus Finch is his name; he had a real kind eye and wasn't bad looking. She'd hoped he'd make a nice, laid back trail horse for her fiance, but she said the boy still wants to work and would do well with someone who's looking to spend more time in the saddle than they have time for.
I've got pics and will try to get to them tomorrow. They're asking $1500.

Hi Tracey, I have a friend who is in the Pullman area and is looking for a good horse. The horse you describe may fit her needs. She has only been riding for a year but it on the right track. Do you know if he has ever jumped? Did you get the pictures of him? I would be interested in finding out more.
Thank you!

This was an unfortunate angle, and the shadow falls across his back making him look quite thin. He's not, really. Could probably gain a few pounds, but not skinny. Not enough, at least, for me to have really noticed it while standing there. No clue about his jumping ability. He seemed really kind, though, when we were standing at the fence. He came up to visit, let us rub on him, kept his ears up. In general, really impressed me as a horse with a good disposition. It sounded like he's probably just too much horse for her fiance...at least that's my reading between the lines conclusion. Her words were, they thought he would make a nice trail horse for her fiance, but he still wants to work If you pm me, I'll get you the gals phone #. And when you come up to see him, let me know because I live just around the corner.
