I am posting this for an acquaintance. The italic text is the ad they provided21 yr old AQHA stallion Snipper Star Reed. www.allbreedpedigree.com/snipper+star+reed
He is 16.2 hands tall. Has a great temperment, even the kids can ride him, crawl under and over him all day long. He is simply the best trail horse. Has been a working ranch horse most of his life. The only time that you Know he is a stud is when he gets to close to a mare. Don't let his age fool you there is still plenty of life left in this fantastic horse. Asking $500.00. Contact melissasabin@aol.comI'm waiting for pics that I'll put up as soon as they arrive.

Hate to say it, but gelding a horse at his age would be cruel to say the least.
If he's left intact, he won't end up "on the meat truck" as the canner buyers and the plants do not take stallions.
With hay the price it is, and going up, you're going to see a lot of older horses that the owners dont want to feed any more end up just like this horse.
Why not post his registered name and pedigree. You stand a far better chance of placing this horse than by his age alone.

Well, he's already a great trail horse, just doesn't need his nuts anymore if someone wants him as a gelding instead of a stud.
