This mare got passed over in Spokane, 2006, and was one of the last to go in Monroe two weeks later. The 3 strikes rule is probably the only thing that saved her (three passed over adoptions and they could be bought outright and sent to slaughter.) She's 8 this year, halter broke but nothing else. Owner never titled her, but has been encouraged to send in the paperwork so that she'll be titled and no one will have to worry about the one year waiting period. Her owner has recently had surgery and realizes he'll never be able to finish her. Let me know if you're interested; we'll be screening potential homes to make sure she ends up with the right people (in other words...someone with wild horse experience due to her age )
