Coyote Lakes seems to have some level-headed horses. My Tonka is from there, and isn't Quiet Storm also? If he wasn't so far away I'd take him in a heartbeat. Still tempting... Love his color, and he's got some training already! He'll be a great horse for someone.

Where is he located? Do they just need a temp place until he finds a new home or what??

Very level headed, and yes, that's where she's from.
The adopter is getting married and says she won't have time for him so is releasing him back to the BLM. It's not a rush thing and he doesn't need temp housing, just looking for a permanent home.
Andrea, you should come get him!

I wish! I need another horse like I need a hole in my head. Which isn't to say I won't end up with another... Poor self-control...
Where is he? If he were this side of the mountains I'd be there. But I'm pretty sure he's not.

Right, but where over there? I'm no good with geography in that area. If I mapquest it I'll be able to figure it out though...

I really don't know exactly where his is, Andrea. He was adopted in Monroe, which is north of Seattle. Highway 2 comes directly from Wenatchee into Monroe. Most likely he's in Snohomish County somewhere.

Can you PM me with the contact info to get more info on him? I'm not saying I'll follow through, but it's worth thinking about... Especially if it turns out he's not as far from me as I think he is
