Well, I offered to GIVE Toby back to his owners, as we had traded for him, and they wouldn't take him back. They said it was not fair to us to keep both the traded item and him. So, I guess I need to find a home for Toby too. They still can't find his registration papers, but did find a paper with his registered name and number on it. Both his sire and dam are registered Appaloosas, but I am not sure with what registry. So, I am not sure of his registry either, I only have his registration number and his name. I did find out his birthday, he's 14. Born on Aug 8, 1993. He's 13hh, and a little over 700lbs. He's a leopard appy (obviously!) and a great little trail horse. However, he is NOT for beginners, although my 12 year old hasn't had any problems with him. He's fine on the trail following other horses, but has not the confidence to lead, or to do much on his own. He needs someone to work with him daily. He will load in a slant load, I don't know about a straight load trailer. He is great with the farrier, and has never kicked, except when getting his sheath cleaned! He is very gentle, even a bit shy. He's got great hooves, which do not need shoes. He seems to prefer females to males. We have only had him one summer, so that is what I do know of him. We are willing to negotiate the price for a great home. I'll be putting him on Dreamhorse, and possibly CL, if I feel like dealing with that. I'm in no hurry, I want a good home for him that is a good match.

Holley,
Gosh... I wish so much that I was about 6 months or more ahead of myself. That pony is gorgeous, I've always liked him and his loud coloring. I'd love to get my son a large pony, but not at this time. Bummer. I know he'll be easy to find a great home for! Best of luck to you.

As flashy as he is, you shouldn't have any problem finding him a home, Holley
