I would SOOO take the pony if we were just into a house. We're only a couple months away but that is too long for you guys to wait. I would say YES!!! so quickly but right now we're paying for boarding!

if you need a place try getting a hold of Gretchen at black raven stables she could possibly take the pony, she is good at finding homes for them.

I hope you're able to find him a good home! Or at least a safe place to stay until he gets one!

Good Luck with picking a home for your little man. Maybe they'll confirm first if they know that there is another family looking at him, LOL!
Good luck with your mare as well! I hope she finds a new home soon!

Yeah that would be the best thing to do, if you do happen to sell her. That way you can go see her every so often. When did the people talk to you about the stud? If it's been a couple days.. I would call and check on them and see if there were anymore questions that they had or something like that.. just so you can get a feel for where they are at in the decision making process.

how about holding on to her but having somebody lease her? or maybe lease them to a program that lets those people with handicaps ride? (Here is the one I'm invovled in: www.vetmed.wsu.edu/depts-pppp/path.aspx)

I wish I would have seen this sooner! I have been looking for a pony stud to use as a teaser as it is usually hit and miss when trying to figure out when my mares come into heat. I'm glad you found him a good home though.
