Purdee has been a great horse for me and now that I have her son Dream out of training, I'm finding that I spend all my time working with him and don't have the time to ride two horses. I've tried to make time for both of them, and I was hoping that my new husband might enjoy riding but due to a neck injury he can't handle riding, so I believe the best thing to do is find Purdee a new home. She is 11 yrs old and I would love to have someone love her like I do, she is a great ride and any one that knows how to ride can ride her, she is a great kids horse and I can put them on her back and walk away (in the arena) and know that she's going to be good.
Her only vice is that she doesn't like being ridden bare back or cross tied ( I know the cross tie part could be worked with, I just haven't had time). She has been great on trails and you can pony with her as well. She is UTD on all vaccines as well as WNV and I worm her every 4 mos. She stands great for the farrier and I haven't put shoes on her in 6 yrs, I don't ride her on rocks and her feet look better now then they did the first 3 yrs I owned her with shoes on. She is a very easy keeper and when there is a new horse as the stables they always put them with Purdee as she is the least dominate, don't get me wrong she won't let any horses kick or bite her either, she will stand up for herself, she's just not aggressive to wards horses.
She has been a great friend and ride, and I just feel guilty that I don't have the time to rider her and show her more attention, so after allot of thought I decided I am going to sell her. Let me know if your interested, she is Reg with the Pinto Horse Assoc and has had one baby he matured to over 16 hh and a really nice gelding (pictures available). Purdee is 15.3 hh and weighs about 1200 lbs, she pretty much has done it all, hauls good and never had any health issues, like I said earlier she is a very easy keeper and the only reason I am selling her is so she'll get more attention so not in a rush really.
Just want to put the word out for any of you that might know someone looking for a good healthy, dependable horse, references will be required as well as a site inspection $3500.00 *price might be neg. depending on situation*.
She is a bit dirty in the pictures as we don't have a wash station @ our stables so I can't do any thing about the dirt till warm weather. She has such a beautiful tail I had to put a picture of it in there as well (it drags the ground).
