Thank you! We do what we can. I'm just one of many volunteers for this 503(c) non-profit. Columbia Basin Equine Rescue has rescued and re-homed 800 horses in a year and a half. It's pretty amazing. What's more amazing is how great these horses are... Some of them are just off the track TB's. Other's are fully broke QH's, Appy's, you name it, they've got it. The horse that I'm in the process of adopting is a 14-year-old former cutting horse who backs on voice command, is very sensitive in his reining, turns on a dime and gives 9 cents back, and even does leg turning. He's got an injury on one of his fetlocks that needs some rehabbing, and he needs some more groceries (He was starved, really skinny, he's gained 200-300 lbs since Christmas). Other than that, this boy is going to make a great first horse for my kids. We're really lucky!

And, even if you can't help by giving a home, CBER needs money and volunteer work, too.

I am sure it could be used somewhere, but I'm not sure where you should send it. If you could go to www.columbiabasinequinerescue.org, and go to the message board at the bottom of the screen, you can volunteer your cob on the list! Thanks again! Bridget
