I have four horses that I am trying to sell. The first one is the one that really needs to go. I do not show and his training is really adding up.
Ziggy: 3 year old sorrel overo paint gelding with 60 days under saddle. He is a grandson of Jets Extra Tuff. He is an awesome youth/amature all-around prospect. Very quiet and willing. $8000.00.
Lad: Yearling red dun breeding stock gelding. He is by Wanted Reward who is by Remedys Reward. His sire is a cutting point and money earner. He is also the sire of reserve world champion junior working cow horse, Illegal Reward. Lad is very laid back and accepting of anything I throw at him. He has mostly just been left out in pasture to be a horse. With the little handling he has gotten, he ties, loads, stands for the farrier and lunges. He shows a lot of athletic ability and is a great reining, cutting or working cow horse prospect. I was really tempted to hang on to him because I like him so much, but the point to my selling horses is so that I can concentrate on getting back to riding and enjoying my horses again. I am asking $2500.00 for him.
I also have Lad's half sister and dam for sale. His half sister, Harley, is going to be bred to APHA stallion Wanted Reward this spring. She is a four year old red roan breeding stock paint. She has not been started under saddle yet. I was going to start working with her, but she came up out of pasture with her hock cut open. It is healing up and she is not lame on it, but she will probably have a scar. She is by Billy Harland, a foundation bred blue roan quarter horse stallion. I am asking $2000.00 with the breeding to Wante Reward and $1200.00 with out the breeding. Her dam, Fancy, is a 13 year old bay tobiano. I have owned her since she was a yearling. She is Quincy Dan bred. She was never started under saddle so is a broodmare only. She is open right now. I am considering breeding her to Justa Pleasure in the spring. I am asking $1500.00 for open and $2500.00 if she is sold after being bred.
