Oakland Bay Chapter's 6th Annual Fun Ride @ Kennedy Creek. First hand is $10, $5 each add. hand. Riders out 9 am-11 am. Off Hwy 101. GREAT views. # Tom or Ann @ 426-1592 Georgia @ 432-3022 Rollin or Debbie @ 426-1998 This is an AWESOME ride. I'm gonna have to give up going to E. WA for this. This is a picture of me there last year? (Maybe year before?) This was taken at the very top of the long ride. You have to bring in your own water OR haul from the creek. The creek is nice to wash out your horse. Highly recommend this. There is some climbing to it.

I had a good ride there today. It's an awesome place to go. The only bad thing that happened was we were on a road and Jay wasn't paying attention to his feet and he stumbled to his knees on the gravel. He got them good. Luckily I had wonder dust and bandage material in my saddle bag. We were patriotic for memorial day. Oh yeah, I tried my new saddle and I love it! Just disregard his knees. Otherwise it's a great pic. Great views,eh? This is the view from the very top.

what an awesome place to ride! Wow, I bet that was great, and the weather looks like it cooperated nicely too. Ouchy on the knees.... How did you get he stars on? Are they colors, or stickers, or what? They look really neat! I'm also looking for more decorations...I love anything fun and/or sparkly!

I painted them on with washable paint (that was sparkly) and used stencils. Mom made the tailbag and saddlepad. Gotta love moms! He's a trooper, he finished the ride NO problems even with ouchy knees.

that looks like so much fun. I wish I had a horse who liked the trails or was old enough to go. My daughters next horse will be able to go on rides like that I want her to know how much fun they can be instead riding in the arena all the time.

washable paint, great idea! I have this gel with purple sparkles in it that I put in manes that are braided...it looks so cute! Like 'my little pony'. I love the pad, and what I can see of the tail bag. I love the necklaces I make and put on them for trail rides....it makes a musical sound and looks so pretty too! I also use the necklaces when I'm working with Toby since supposedly it helps them concentrate. I don't know if it does, but it sure has a nice calming sound!

I remember the last time you posted from that ride, it looks like a great ride, maybe some day I'll be able to make that one. The pictures of you and Jay are awesome, I think it's great you take the time to dress/paint him up. There should have been an award for you.

The way I look at it, since I don't get my horse all dolled up for shows anymore I'll have fun on the trails! Jay is a real good horse, definitaley worth his weight in gold. Sure he has his moments, but don't we all. Thanks on the compliments, hope to see some of you gals on the trails.
