Does the original even manufacture saddles any longer?
Brand name is still Billy Cook, regardless of whether it was from OK or TX. Not a bad saddle. Not the same quality as the original, but a good, solid saddle for whatever it is you want to do. I wouldn't sell but it doesn't fit Sandy.

That looks like one comfy saddle!! Wish Reb could take a 6 3/4. He needs the Foundation QH Crates. I think it is the 4??-? reiner though not sure of the number and is I believe is 7" gullet. The QH crates doesn't quit fit....just alittle to snug.
I will pass the info on at the stable.

Yup as a certified saddle fitter - and tack store owner - the Billy's from Greenville, TX are factory-line saddles. Not the handmade ones that are STILL made in Sulfur, OK by the original BC. He was forced through Bankruptcy years ago to sell part of his name... There's no comparison bet. the two...

I think it looks like a very comfy saddle to Tracy. My mom and step dad might be looking for a new saddle in a day or so, so I will let them know about this one if they are. We are gonna be taking a look at a palamino I think for my mom
