Ok so I think this is the right space for this.. I am in need of a nice AQHA stallion..I would like to find a nice looking AQHA stallion, one who produces nice foals, who are athletic.. height does not matter. It would be nice to see some of the stallions foals, and even some of the dams tot he foals... He will be bred to a 16.2h TB mare she is reg, she is very sweet, no health problems has been vet checked the vet says she is good to go..she can have foals etc...she was bred before but the guy only bred her once and didn`t wait to see if she was actually bred...and she wasn`t..which sucked. she is not a kicker..but we can use hobbles if the stallion owner feels better about it:)it`s not going to happen today, but hopefully this spring/summer..the stallion can be anywhere in Washington, we will travel...it does not have to be close to us..I`m pretty good with knowing the bloodlines, but it`s more of having a nice looking, nice acting sweet natured foal..for trails, western pleasure, gaming etc.. if you have one...or know of one PLEASE post it for me..I would very much appreciate the help:) thanks everyone!!

Backyard breeding at it's finest No offense, Jenn...but who are you posting this for? You may want to refer them to the current issue of Northwest Horse Source, which has an excellent article on breeding this month.

ya I know..it`s because she loves her mare, and her mares attitude, but she was injured on the track and she doesn`t have many years left..so to help her breaking heart she wants one foal out of her mare..
I realize there is a breeding problem..but at the same time it`s not like she is breeding her to sell the foal..it`s because she will have retire her mare in a year or so, and wants her to live on..BIG difference..her mare will no longer be able to carry her on the trails, and she wants this, and ME personally I thin she deserves it..I wouldn`t call it back yard breeding until you knew the story..

I guess look around. I know of one of the back. Not 100% she is still standing him.

Breeding is like a box of chocolates...you never know what you're going to get. Sorry....for the pun She may not get the dream horse she is hoping to replicate.....it can be a crapshoot. Not to jump on the negative with the breeding thing but have her read that article.
