Hey folks, I'm going to be in need of a blanket or sheet for the new mustang when it gets here. Doesn't need to be pretty, just needs to stay on the horse and keep it somewhat dry. I'm going to take a stab at a 72" (I've not yet met the horse.)
Because everything related to this horse is volunteer, I'm not able to spend much, and would be forever beholden if someone just happened to have one lying around that they'd like to donate, or if you'd like to swap a box of handmade soap or lotion, I could do that, too.
Thanks!

Well, it doesn't come tame...but it should be wearing a blankie by the second week, I'd think.

I have a good rain sheet that came with my rescue horse Brady. It is waterproof, mesh lining(which I really don't like), I like the nylon slick lining. But it is a good blanket with no holes or tears and everything in tack.
Here is the bad news......I had it stored in ex's garage. I took it out and it smelled like a cat had done his thing on it. I washed it, with some oxi-clean and hung it outside and was going to use it on Reb, but it is WAY too small. I can't find a size, but I figure Reb needing a 79 or 80. So this must be a 75, 76 or around there. It smells ok now, if you don't stuff it up to your face. I couldn't tell you for sure as I am dealing with the "COLD FUNK" and can't smell much!! If I was to use it on Reb I would have re-coated it with a water proof spray(I use tent spray) but it probably would be fine without.
You are welcome to it, don't feel bad if you don't want it. I already ordered Reb a new one.

Sure! I'm game. Even if it doesn't fit whichever horse may be coming, it'll likely fit another one down the pike. Can never have too many blankies for all the different shaped ponies that pass through here.
Do you want some soapies? Have you got a paypal account I can send shipping to? Just let me know!

No problem on shipping, I will handle it. I am glad it will be used!! : ) It just might be a few days before I get it out. I work full days the next 2 days and then friday I will be picking my son from AZ up at the Airport for the Weddding on Saturday. Taking him back on Monday. Will try to get it out the first of next week.
