He's gorgeous! Hopefully someone will take the time on him. Looks like he'd be great once he was put back in his place.

He's lovely looking, but sounds like a pain in the butt and needs retraining.... too big of a mouth to feed and too big and scary for this little girl! *LOL*

I agree! I am right there with ya! I"d LOVE a percheron ESPECIALLY a dapple grey but not one who likes to misbehave.. lol.

OMG. My farrier was just talking about this horse! He tried to trim him a couple of days ago, in Valleyford right? Says he was beautiful to look at, but says this horse is Scary. He said this horse is flat out HUGE, and very aware of his size and ability to squash his little human "annoyances" He said they got next to nowhere trying to trim his feet, except stepped on and kicked at. He said that gal told him she had nearly $3000 into him, but tried to talk the farrier into buying him for $800. The farrier told her no, and that her best bet for him was the meat market. He said he doesnt like to suggest that, but this a very big, and very scary horse.

There is a horse that looks EXACTLY like this down in my area right now on CL for $450. Except he may be a tad bit darker and he's supposedly a sweetheart who LOVES people.

Sounds like this horse needs a big man and a big job. It is sad that feed is going so high because of fuel cost... or Id say, "hook him up to a wagon and lets go to town"

Ya know I heard that a farmer sold his tractor and went back to old school plowing with two mules.

That I wouldn't doubt. I have seen alot of people here on the news riding horses to town to protest the damn gas prices. And a group of girls rode to school on the last day of school. And they are thinking of riding them to school next year and asked for a couple hitchin posts....Wonder how that will go over.......lol
