Now that the whole family is riding together, I need another kids' horse. Something really slow and dependable, with absolutely no spook, that will just follow our other horses down the road or the trail. Doesn't need to be totally healthy or sound. Heck, a little gimp might be a good thing, keep it going slow...
If anyone knows of a horse like this available in the E. WA or N. ID area, let me know. Thanks!

You shouldn't have any problem finding one of those! Check some of the reputable rescues. I have an old FAST horse...she is 23 and is still a mover! lol

I'm keeping an eye on Craigslist, but most of the horses I see on there need lots of work or they're too far away. I'm sure we'll find one eventually though.
That one near Salem looks really good, but it's too far, darn it.
Ooh, I just found one that looks good! Going to go send an email.

Unfortunatly the one I have left is TJ. While she is fine for a beginner(with some experience), she is definitly not a "slow" horse.

No, it was that pony. There's another horse for a reasonable price, but she can't send me pictures and it's 2 1/2 hours away... I think I'll still go look if I can find time. I decided to put up a "wanted" ad on our local sites. Hopefully something closer will come up.

Pullman/Moscow craigslist is closest to me, or Spokane.
I think I'm going to put the new horse search on hold though, until I know more about Scout's upcoming vet bills...
