These are the only two fleece ones I have at the moment: These still have to get cut. I think I can get at least three out of each. OK. I have three available in pink, only ONE in the flames and two in the checkered. Unfortunately, That's all I have available for a little while. If anyone is interested let me know. First come fist serve. $8 each. If I have to ship out, don't know what it would cost yet-not much I'm sure.

Trail goober since you were the first to want some you have first choice in which ones ya want. I pm'd you. Gooberqueen-see that nice long tail! Yah, that's ALWAYS been in a tailbag. (He may have a thin tail, but that's no fault from the bag.) I'm sure if you browse around this forum for pics of Jay, you'll see he doesn't look silly in a tail bag!

Yeah.. I don't know what it is but I LOVE seeing LONG thick tails on horses.. it's just a personal preference.. just like I don't like the bridal path being cut.. but that's just my preference.. I know MANY people have reasoning for it.
I like em LONG and THICK!!

Stephie, you put the bag on over night, and let it out while you're there to play...then you get to see the pretty tail! And Quiet Storm has such a pretty tail, of course, you'll want to be seeing it ;D But get her a pretty bag to keep it nice and the tree branches out of it. A note on the bridle path...I usually just snip an inch out where the headstall rests; it's one of the pressure points that helps control the horse while you're handling them. With her thick mane, you don't even see that she's got one.

Yeah, but wouldn't it be useless to put it in a bag at night when she's in her stall? During the day is when I have issues with it.. although she didn't have a problem with branches last night. I am going to try braiding it. BTW.. what do you use to hold it together at the end. Is there a special type of rubber band or will a normal one work?

Two black ones and two checkered ones are spoken for. Need to get more material.
Stephanie the open part of the tailbag has two ties that you weave into the top part of the braid and tie it off. Just do not tie it around the bone!!
My saddlebred mare has a thick tail. It's getting close to the ground and she is ~15.3.

Peppy, Brandy, and Tequila all have tails on the ground. I will be braiding up ms. Peppys and Brandy's today as I am afraid of getting ice in them and making them drag and get stepped on. Peppy takes an hour to brush out her tail, its SO thick. I have some of those three tube tail wraps, I like them once they are IN, but talk about a PAIN to get there! Anyone have the secret for those darn things? I cant wait to get Tequila's brushed out, his mane expecially, his forelock hangs almost to his nose, and his mane will fall far below his neck. His previous owner suggested roaching it, good gravy, no way! I will spend DAYS working on that if I have to, there is no way I am cutting that!

I know it looks silly - but, is sure does the trick AND you ALWAYS have plenty of it

Oh JJ - I want one too! I would like the flame one and one in the green silky stuff ;D Lucky's tail has gotten soo long that back in September I watched him back up, started having trouble and he was stepping on his tail I felt soo bad that i grabbed a pair of scissors and trimmed it right there in his paddock to about his pastern. I have been using the Trifecta 3 in 1 supplement and it seems to have really well for his mane and tail growth, his coat is shiney too with lil waves in it as he grows a bit of a winter coat - I''ll see if I can dig up a recent pic. JJ - What ever you decide on shipping or pickup lemme know. OH CRAP - I NEED TWO OF EACH ( FLAME AND GREEN ONE) The two are gonna be christmas/thank you presents - okay?

Steph will definitely need a picture, remember her blanketing Beau Beau, she will wind up with his tail bag tied to his ears. hehehehe IMG]http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b267/memyhusbandandourbabies/Emotes/Classic-Winking.gif[/IMG]
Sorry Steph, just trying to put you in a better mood and I know you visualized what I just said. The horses would look like they have long dangly earrings

Oh i get it. That's what I thought but wasn't sure. And they don't fall off like that? When we were at Coastal they had some that you had three different sections that you put over the horses tail.. then you pulled the hair through.. into the individual bags.. then you braided the bags? what about those?

My mom has made me one of those as well. Unfortunatley my geldings tail is longer than bag so it doesn't work for his tail. That one is a little more difficult. you separate the tail like you are gonna braid it but put each one into the "tube". Like you said. You still have to tie it up. You braid them all together and tie up the end. It takes longer to put up a horses tail that way. The bags are easy and quick for me. The ONLY time I had one come off is when my mare went through a phase where she figured out 1-how to get the tailbag off and 2 how to get her tail out of the braid! She doesn't do that any more thankfully!!

HA HA HA.. I can just imagine Quiet Storm trying to do that. That's way funny! Yeah I'll stick with trying to braid it for now and if that doesn't work.. then I'll get a bag from you.
She hasn't had anymore problems so we'll see. I've been trying to brush it out everytime I groom her but sometimes I forget, lol. She's been fine though.
