I am re-posting this URGENT PLEA to anyone who can help take a few of
these horses, or transport them to a rescue, etc. OR SIMPLY CONTACT
RESCUES THAT MIGHT HELP. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY/
An elderly woman, Mary Walker, in Wisconsin, needs to get rid of 42
of her horses & fast. Husband is sending them to meat-market if they
cannot find homes for them. Most are Arabians, or Arabian Quarter
Horses.
They are accepting calls from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m at night (please be
respectful of this.) They cannot care for the horses & do not have
enough hay.
Please forward to ALL rescues, & people who might be interested in
helping. Most of these horses are not broken, but who have excellent
temperments which would make training easy.
Thank you,
Carolyne Williams

More on Marys horses. Most are young, she wants to keep the old ones.
Only
four. Trust me she let the breeding get out of hand through no fault
of her
own. She is old and her husband cannot keep up.. She broke her neck
has health problems. The horses need food. Mary just can't do what
she once did and the horses are going to meat market her husband said
if they do not get a home and fast. Not enough feed.
