I can't do that... if I came to see her, she'd have to come home with me... and then she'd be all I have b/c my fiancee would kick me out of the house.

Hopefully my favorite horse I don't own had a great Christmas! PS. I asked for HER for Christmas, but it didn't work.

Yeah, she had her stall decorated. With all my other horses as well, she got treats and a tid bit more grain. I am actually moving her to a barn with a covered arena so I can work her more. The place where she is at now doesn't have one and with the GREAT WA. weather I have had no luck working her. So my plan is to work her GOOD for a month, get more serious about marketing her and if I still have her in March maybe take her to the show at the Tacoma Unit-Dressage show. Angel-Did you see the pic of her with the reindeer antlers? It's in the photo section under 'My Reindeer'.

Been working her an average of two days per week. This week will be three days! Finally getting her to canter again. (we went through a time where she would just trot fast and wouldn't break and when she did she wouldn't pick up the right lead in the rear or the front.) So a lot of sweat time lately. BUT she does walk over a tarp with NO hesitation! Still working on a day to take her out to the trails. Waiting on weather. Had a guy e-mail me on her, VERY interested. So like the second e-mail from him I decided to find out where he was from. His phone # automatically is sent with his e-mail. I googled it and he was from Nebraska. I called him on it, told him I was from Washington and haven't heard from him since. I let her loose in the arena today. She was flirting with one of the Arab stallions there-Scandalous Legacy. He wasn't to happy that he was on the other side of the wall. They even kissed noses. Still wanting to go to the show in March. Will have to see how funds are. Also thinkin' about dropping her price a little.

Well you know Legs is a very handsome fella, can't blame the girl for flirting a bit.

Yeah, he is a nice lookin' guy. If I had the money I'd breed my Arab mare to him, but it's a tid bit too much for my pocket. He does put out some nice foals. There is a two or three year old colt out of him there as well, really NICE lookin'!

I don't think he's sired a foal yet that wasn't nice looking! He's a sweety too.

No! I said he hasn't sired a foal yet that wasn't nice looking. Meaning that all his foals are great looking animals! I know he's sired quite a few, I've been following them for a few years now. MiKael and I correspond on a regular basis. It was one of her close friends that had Rosie. MiKael asked me to take Rosie on. She's got some really nice horses down there.

I'll have to remember which of those are at the barn. I believe Scan. Love and Scan. Hope are there. Don't remember the names of the two colts there.

*LOL* I'm a dork and didn't read the whole reply... even though I thought I read it a couple times. Legs is a nice horse. I've stood in his stall and chatted with MiKael at the Horse Expo a couple years back. My friend, Lilli, owns the stallion that sired Mikael's twins.

I rode her again today. She was great! Didn't sweat all that much-due to not fighting the bit and bending right. Two days in a row of riding her. My friend said I should take her in the schooling show on the 16th. We will see.

Well sounds like she is coming along.... good for the both of you! It's nice to see your "project" keep progressing. Finn and I are at a stand still, due to snow and too much mud in the arena. BOOOO I will keep working on my other half. Too bad we have to pay for a wedding next year... could have bought her already!

Yep I was given the horse and her registration papers. She's extremely well bred: SM Rosaana. I haven't transferred her to my name yet (sending the cert in tomorrow). Jay, if you take her to a show I'd love to come watch so please let us know.
